NFL Thoughts After Week 12

NFL thoughts I have after Week 12:

-The Rams have separated themselves as the best team in the NFC. In the AFC, you could make an argument for 6 different teams.

-Huge win for the Chiefs. Saved their season plus have a very easy schedule coming up. Colts are now in a fight with the Texans for the division.

-Huge losses across the Offensive Line for the Patriots. They don't have a ton of depth there either. Important come playoff time.

-I wouldn't want to play the Cowboys in the Playoffs. They're capable of beating anybody on a good day. That said, they're a long shot to make it.

-Trevor Lawrence: Good enough to where the Jags have to keep him. Bad enough to where he won't win them anything long term. Not a great situation to be in.

-The Bears are 8-3, in sole possession of 1st place in the NFC North, yet are +320 to win the division. Tells you all you need to know.

-Shedeur looked competent. Better than Gabriel for sure. That said, he was playing the Raiders. That also said, he gets to play the injured 49ers defense, the Titans and the Bears defenses the next 3 games. He might just continue to look good.

-J.J. McCarthy shouldn't be on the practice squad, much less starting an NFL football game.

-It's Stafford's MVP to lose at this point barring injury. He also has the benefit of the media already hyping up the narrative of him winning it.

-MVP Vote as of now: 1) Stafford 2) Maye 3) JSN
